Woman ordered to pay record firms $220,000 for 24 illegal downloads:
DULUTH, Minn. — The recording industry won a key fight Thursday against illegal music downloading when a federal jury found a Minnesota woman shared copyrighted music online and levied $220,000 in damages against her.
In the mean time Radiohead is selling their new album online for "Its up to you". Thats right, you name the price you are willing to pay for this album. No record company's involved, its up to you do decide what you are willing to pay the artist for their work.

The Secret Meeting is a collaboration between kaRIN & Statik of the band Collide, and Dean Garcia from the band Curve.
You all know how much I love Collide. The way kaRIN and Statik take care of business, they just don't need a record label. In my opinion a label would just destroy the beautiful thing they continue to produce. I have absolutely no problem paying full price for a full quality CD from full quality artists such as these. I highly recommend you support them and do the same. When I know my hard earned bucks are going straight to the artist enabling them to continue to bring me the sounds I so enjoy, its a no brainier for me. To quote Statik from The Secret Meeting site "I just want to make music that doesn't suck…thats all." You all know my criteria for choosing music to play on the show, if it doesn't suck, ill play it. Considering how much Collide we have played over the years, I would have to say Statik is making music that doesn't suck. Go check out The Secret Meeting, and make sure you tell kaRIN Jonny sent ya, she always gets a somewhat confused kick out of it, and then sends me an email. While your doing that, I am gong to work on the next episode of Industrial Radio, and share with you some more music that doesn't suck, and you wont even get sued for downloading it.
